Ingredients:
3 cups of mashed sweet potatoes
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine, melted
dash of cinnamon

Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup margarine – slightly softened

Directions:
I start by putting sweet potatoes in food processor to ensure there’s no big chunks of potatoes.
Mix together with other ingredients.
Pour in 8×12 or 9×13 inch casserole dish after spraying non-stick spray to ensure easy clean up.
For topping:
Mix together pecans, sugar, & flour until mixed well then add in butter and stir.
Sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

I love this app. This is great for those of us who are trying to make better choices when we have no other choice but to east fast food. Of course, since I have an iPod and can’t access it when I’m out I have to do where I have free wifi. Regardless I find this very useful and informative. Below you can see the information that it gives you for the item you’re trying to look up.

Here it shows the screen which is so awesome. It enables you to do a search. So say your going out for dinner and know you should only be eating 500 calories, just type that in and it will narrow down your choices for you! Love that...

2008 – Didn’t get pictures! Monkey Boy was a giraffe again (I think) and TV Boy decided he was too old!
1999 – I’m not sure what happened this year. I can’t find pictures and I’m thinking I don’t have any. I think this might have been the year Rob and I were in the mountains while TV Boy hung out with his great grandparents.
Sorry for the lack of quality of several of these pics...

Most of my Fall/Halloween decorations were gifts from past students. I also used to love to go to Big Lots and find little knick-knacks too. I have some great ideas for Fall/Halloween decorations and recipes. I’m hoping to go next week and find some good deals on the materials I need to make them. Stay tuned as I will be posting them next week.
I love candy corn! I like looking at it more than eating it...

Writing Assignment:
3.) How did you parents choose your name? What does it mean? What would you change your name to if you could? (inspired by Mama’s Losin It)
This writing assignment was difficult to choose. I could have written about almost all of them! I chose to write about my name. I don’t use my name on here too much. I’m going to put it here now, but since google is so smart I’m adding stars to trick google up!
My mom had actually decided to name me Miranda, but my Dad’s grandmother and my Mom were very close and one day was talking with my great Grandmother (who we called Great-Great). Great-Great mentioned that she had a name for me that she would like her to think about and it was Leesha...
