I’ve always found BBQ Chicken Pizza to be interesting. I like a piece or two when feasting at pizza buffet. For some reason lately, I’ve been craving it and I thought I’d try my hand it. It turned out to be so good! That’s the great thing about making your own instead of going to a restaurant, is you can tweak recipes to your liking!
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
Fresh dough or refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup of your favorite BBQ Sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray’s)
3 cups of mozzarella cheese
1 cup of cooked, shredded chicken
1/2 purple onion, diced
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Roll out dough. Place on pizza pan after spraying with non-stick spray.
3. Pour BBQ sauce on pizza and spread evenly with spoon.
4. Spread about a cup of cheese over sauce.
5. Spread the chicken and onion over the pizza.
6. Spread the rest of the cheese evenly.
7. Bake for about 30 minutes.
