Chocolate Crunch Brownies

Chocolate Crunch Brownies - This recipe for Chocolate Crunch Brownies adds a new spin on old-time favorite.

Servings: 36 brownies

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
6 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow crème
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 cups crisp rice cereal

Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, add eggs.
2. Stir in cocoa, flour, vanilla, and salt.
3. Spread into a greased 13×9 baking pan.
4. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until brownies test done.
5. Microwave marshmallow creme for about 30 seconds to make it easy to spread.
6. Spread marshmallow crème over brownies.
7. In a saucepan, melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat.
8. Stir in the cereal.
9. Spread over marshmallow layer.
10. Chill before cutting.
11. Store in the refrigerator.
