Broccoli and Cheese

Broccoli & Cheese

Servings: 4
Prep Time: <5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 bunch of broccolli cut into bite size pieces

Cheese sauce:
2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons self-rising flour
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheese
Sprinkle of paprika
Sprinkle of Tabasco

Directions:
Steam broccoli for about 5 minutes.
While broccoli is steaming:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add in paprika and Tabasco.
Whisk in the flour until it thickens the consistency.
Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese until smooth.

Yummy Quick Snack

I have been craving chocolate and bananas lately. I was trying to come up with something quick and easy to quench my craving. This is what I came up with. Luv it and so do the kids!

Servings:
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes

Ingredients:
Graham crackers
Peanut butter
Chocolate chips
Banana

Directions:
Spread peanut butter over each graham cracker.
Slice banana into thin slices and place on each cracker.
Sprinkle peanut butter with chocolate chips so they stick.

Pizza Subs

Pizza Subs


Servings: 4
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
Sub Bread
Pizza sauce
Any pizza ingredients that you like. I use:
Pepperoni
Ground Italian Sausage
Ham
Black Olives
Onions
Pepperocinis

Directions:
Cut each sub bread in half.

Spread 2-3 table spoons of pizza sauce on to bread

Put other ingredients on the bread. Just spread evenly.

Put in oven for about 5 minutes depending on how toasted you want your bread. I usually just do it long enough to melt the cheese.

Parmesan Fries

Parmesan Fries

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp. garlic salt
4-6 Yukon gold or russet potatoes, cut into thin wedges

Parmesan Fries

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Slice potatoes into wedges. The thinner you make them crispier they will get.
Put in bowl with olive oil. Make sure all pieces get coded in the oil.
Drag potatoes through parmesan cheese. Flip to make sure all sides get covered with cheese.
Place on non-stick cookie sheet and place in oven for 30 minutes or until they reach the crispiness that you desire.

Bacon Cheeseburger Roll-Up

Cheeseburger Roll-ups

Servings: 6
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:
1 lb. lean ground beef
4 pieces of chopped bacon
1 small chopped onion
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) Velveeta Cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 pkg. (13.8 oz.) refrigerated pizza crust (I used my homemade dough)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Brown ground beef with bacon and onions in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
Return meat mixture to skillet.
Add Velveeta; cook until melted, stirring frequently. Cool 10 min.
Roll out dough

Cheeseburger Roll-ups

Top with meat mixture.

Roll up and place them seam-side down.

Bake 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown.

ChocChip Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Servings: 25 cookies
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 11 minutes

Ingredients:
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup butter shortening
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
3 cups oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Spray cookie sheet lightly.
Mix everything, except oats, flour and chocolate chips, in a large bowl.
Stir in oats, flour, and chocolate chips.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto on cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown.
Remove from cookie sheet to a wire rack for cooling.

Apple Walnut Oatmeal Muffins

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup old fashioned oatmeal
1 cup chopped apples, pared
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup walnuts
Food

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Sift together dry ingredients except for oatmeal, walnuts, and apples.
Beat egg and milk together; add to flour mixture.
Stir in oatmeal, walnuts, and apples
Spoon into greased muffin tins.
Bake for about 10 minutes.

Chicken Pizza-ola Sandwich

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Olive oil
4 hoagies split
2 small chicken breasts
10-14 pieces of pepperoni
pizza sauce
1 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella

Optional:
black olives
Banana peppers

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Pour oil into pan and warm on medium.
Cut chicken into long strips and place in hot oil.
Cook until cooked through and brown.
While chicken is cooking, put about 2 tbsp of pizza sauce on each piece of bread.
Put enough pepperoni on bread to cover one side of bread.
On the other side cover with cheese.
When chicken is cooked place on sandwich.
Put other optional ingredients.
Heat in oven for about 15 minutes. Cover with foil to make sure bread doesn’t get too brown.

Chicken Pitas

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
Marinade
4 Pitas
2 large chicken breasts
shredded lettuce
shredded mexican cheese

Directions:
Cut chicken into bite size pieces
Heat circle of olive oil in pan
Coat pan
Once olive oil is hot, put chicken in pan
Cook until brown and cooked through

More food

Cut pitas in half if they’re not already
Place chicken, cheese, and lettuce in pitas,

Homemade Pizza

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
Fresh dough
1 jar of pizza sauce
3 cups of mozzarella cheese
2 cups of italian sausage

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.
Roll out dough.
Brown sausage. I usually send the cooked sausage through the food processor.
Place on pizza pan after spraying with non-stick spray.
Pour sauce on pizza and spread evenly with spoon.
Spread about a cup of cheese over sauce.
Spread about the sausage over the pizza.
Spread the rest of the cheese evenly.
Bake for about 30 minutes.
