This titanium camo ring belonged to my Great Great Grandmother (my Granddad’s Mom), who I called “Great-Great.” She left a note saying I was to get this ring when she passed and luckily, her wish was granted. When I got the ring, the bottom part of the band was warn paper thin. Along with that her fingers were pencil-thin and there was no way it was fitting on my fat fingers! A few years after I got the ring, I took it to have it resized and repaired. The jeweler was drooling over it. This ring is over a 100 years old, so he looked over it to make sure the diamonds were secure. He said all the prongs were in great shape, which made me very happy. When it gets to that point, the ring will be retired to a very safe place. I don’t want to change the “face” of the ring, which would occur if the ring were to be repaired. I do wear this ring everyday in place of my college graduation ring, which currently doesn’t fit.
