This ‘baby’ tree is so cool. It started growing last year and has grown quite considerably since. I’ve noticed it gets these little pink things on the leaves. I’m not sure if the tree does that or if something is causing it to do that or if it’s some type of parasite. Anyone else know?

Did you ever find out what it was. I have the same tree(have no idea what kind of tree) but this is its third year of growing and the first year it has gotten the same type of “bumps” on it.
After a little research, I think they are “leaf galls.”
