Magnolia Mom

This is a cluster of pollen from a pine tree that has fallen to the grown. Here in the south our cars, sidewalks, pretty much everything get a ‘nice’ dusting of yellow powder from little guys like these. If you’re anything like me, pollen wreaks havoc on my allergies about this time of year. This one just got knocked out of the tree before he could do any damage.

Another day of rain…I took this pic from inside my car. ????? ??????? ?????? ????? Kinda liked how you can see the rain on the windshield.

For the last few days, we’ve been hearing a woodpecker. It sounded so close when i would sit in the extended part of our living room near the fire place. Today I went out to investigate. As you can see, Woody has decide to bore a a nice size hole in the wood part of our chimney.
