This little guy poked up through the bricks on our steps in front of the house.

We filled the bird feeder that hangs on our balcony outside the master bedroom this past weekend. Today I was cleaning and happened to look out the door and saw this guy on the ledge, looking up at the birdfeeder, contemplating how he was going to get up there. By the time I ran downstairs to get the camera, he was on the roof, running away. 🙁
This was actually taken yesterday during our walk with Daisy. I think it would be cool to do an entire collage of the moon phases…maybe someday!
Today we took Daisy for a walk near the baseball fields while Monkey had an extra baseball practice. We let her off leash and she loves it. Jumping through the tall grasses, exploring all there is to see and smell…I love seeing her enthusiasm for life.
This was a set that I took of Teenager while we were at the Stock Yards.
I used Picnik to put these pictures in this storyboard.
After 10 trips to Wal-Mart, 4 replacement frames, lots of agony, several trips from one Wal-Mart to the other (because they didn’t have the frames we needed, across town, through traffic, through rain…
I used a free action from MCP Actions called Facebook Fix, which made putting these 2 pics in a storyboard, quick and painless. I also used another free MCP Action for the black border, but I couldn’t find a link to it.
I am really really struggling to keep up with 365 lately. Life has me busy, tired, stressed, unmotivated. BLAH! And I hate it. At least she makes me smile.
Today I was looking around for something interesting to take a picture of. I feel myself getting into a creative slump. I got a bag of gummy worms on the way back from Texas and have wanted to take a pic of them. I tried different things, none of which “did it” for me. I found one of Monkey’s wiffle balls lying on the floor and decided to incorporate the worm with the ball symbolic of a worm emerging from a green apple….yah, I don’t know either! lol
These were sitting on the doorstep yesterday when we got home from the Track Meet. It actually totally made my day. I adore roses and I never get them, which is cool. These weren’t sent by my church in sympathy, which was so nice of them. I had lots of fun taking pics of them.
See a few other pics of them here.
Today Teenager had a Track Meet. I, of course, took way too many pictures. I thought this was a really cool shot of his friend. I think I used the Troy Action (free) from TRA.
The Blue & Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts was this evening. This is not the greatest of pictures, but I wanted to show Rob getting a gift of appreciation from the other leaders. The guy on the left is Rob’s good friend and Assistant Cubmaster, Ritch. If people only knew how much time, thought, and effort Rob puts into making cub scouts great! I honestly am not sure I can put a number on it, but it is staggering! He does an amazing job and I’m glad he is so passionate about making the Pack the very best for all of it’s members.
I hope this all makes sense, because at this point I’m delirious! 🙂
