The title of this one is impending terror because Teenager turned 15 today. Although, we didn’t let him get his driving permit yet, one of his gifts from us was this book. After he knows this book backwards and forwards, he’ll be able to go get his driving permit. Just that fact alone is enough to scare me beyond recognition.
Tonight we partook in a fundraiser for Monkey’s school. You can see here a pizza box that he had pre-decorated, so our pizza was placed in the box he had decorated the day before. The school of course received a certain percentage of sells.
Today we enjoyed our last morning in the mountains with our friends. I’ll be posting many more pics from the weekend soon. I capture this one right before we left for our drive home.
This evening we’ve just been hanging out at the cabin. We were outside chatting on the porch when I turned around to check on the kids and saw this. I couldn’t resist!

This weekend we’re headed out of town. I’m looking forward to this much needed weekend away with my family and dear friends. It’s always good to be away, so that one can regain their life’s momentum and have a clearer view, as well.

Fat Mum Slim‘s prompt today is “paper.” I had planned to do Capture 365‘s prompt, which was “peaceful,” but when I was out running errands I forgot to bring my camera. Consequently, I had to scratch that idea and do something different.
I decided to look for some interesting papers, so I pulled out the box of old stuff from my Grandmother’s house. I found these Western Union Telegrams, and just thought it was so cool. These date back to 1955. These were sent to my family when my Grandmother’s dad passed away.
I’ve been keeping a secret from you. Ok…well, not really. I just hadn’t mentioned it, but back in October I think it was, Rob finally convinced me to start playing bells with him at church. cheap scabo Tuesdays are the practices, so we go to bells at 11 and then go eat lunch together. Tonight Rob and I went to a Sunday School party. We left a little earlier than we’d planned as I just wasn’t feeling great.
