The other day I received my frozen ice box of Birds Eye Chef’s packages. There were 4 different kinds:
– Lightly Sauced Primavera Vegetable Risotto
– Lightly Sauced Creamed Spinach
– Lightly Sauced Roasted Red Potatoes & Green Beans
– Lightly Sauced Mushroom & Green Bean Risotto
The one you see above it the Roasted Red Potatoes & Green Beans. I’ll be upfront and say my family and I are not usually fans of this type of frozen veggie concoction. I baked some chicken breast and mixed in with it and it was pretty good. The light cheesy sauce was nice and I did appreciate that the veggies were not soggy. The green beans really did seem fresh and not from frozen. The potatoes were still firm and not mushy. Most of the time with frozen foods similar to these the sodium is very high and this seemed much more reasonable.

So basically what I did was got a piece of clear packing tape and lined the crayons on it. The size of the cup will determine how many crayons you need. After getting enough crayons, I taped the ends together and slid it down in the bottom of the cup. Then, quickly filling the middle with candy and post-it notes. The picture above was taken after it was completely full. After that I put plastic wrap on the top with a ribbon to ensure it didn’t spill out.

6. My dirty little secret is I enjoy watching the Bachelor & the Bachelorette. Yep, I know it’s total trash TV, but there’s just something about it. I love seeing the locations of their dates.
7. Something friends might say about me is that I am loyal to a fault. I don’t give up on friendships easily and I work hard to keep my friendships going. People get so busy that I think people shove friendships to bottom of their priority list and I think that’s sad.

Full camp out post here.
Last month we put in some new lighting in our kitchen areas. As you can probably see here the old light fixtures were both way to big for the room and really overwhelming. Eventually I’d like recessed lighting in both these rooms, but this is a definite improvement.

One of the main reasons why I really really want an iPhone is to be able to use instagr.am, but I did some searching and found some photoshop actions that do a pretty good job of letting me fake it. 🙂
